Conductor Yuval Benozer
Dietrich Buxtehude was the most famous organist and composer in Germany in the middle of the Baroque period. He wrote a huge amount of instrumental and vocal music but his best known work is Membra Jesu Nostri (The Organs of Jesus), a 7-chapter cantata in which each chapter is dedicated to another organ in the body of Jesus.
A rare performance of the beautiful work that combines texts from Psalms, Song of Songs, Zechariah and Isaia.
Concert Duration: 1:10:17 hours.
Live recorded at Tel Aviv Museum of Art in 18.10.21.
