The Israeli Vocal Ensemble in a special summer concert at two breathtakingly beautiful churches. This new collaboration between the singers of the Israeli Vocal Ensemble and the players of the Israeli Chamber Ensemble is conducted by Maestro Stanley Sperber. At the heart of the concert is the heavenly Requiem by French composer Gabriel Fauré, in a performance that brings to the forefront the rich and powerful sound of the choir and the players—all within the unique acoustics of a church. Also on the program:
Fauré – Cantique de Jean Racine, Op. 11; Barber: “Agnus Dei” – an arrangement of his beautiful and well-known Adagio, and Danzón No. 2 arranged for solo harp by Arturo Márquez.
